Bibliographic searches for psychologists in the Majority World

One problem for psychology researchers in Majority-World (developing) countries stems from the persisting digital divide. Indeed, many academicians and researchers wordlwide have limited or no access to specialized databases or to computer equipment with networking capabilities. This drastically reduces access to updated information on research references for such non-profit uses as teaching or conducting research projects in public universities.

The IUPsyS HealthNet is now offering, on a trial basis, a new service to these colleagues. If you need a computer search for research information send up to ten keywords or a brief (40-word) description of your information query to: johannes@servidor.unam.mx

In your message make sure you specify that you will use such information for non-for-profit purposes and that you accept and commit to the ethical principles and guidelines for psychologists.
